What lovely weather!

It’s been quite a while since I last posted on the blog, I’ve just been very busy, so here’s a quick update.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing John and Amanda’s wedding at St Pierre, Chepstow, it was a lovely day and only the second no rain wedding this year!

Here are a few images from the wedding.

I’ve also been making up a lot of albums, I completed three Jorgensen E series albums and two Madison albums this week and they’ve all been collected or sent out.

I also have quite a busy week ahead, Welsh class today and a Welsh Region MPA committee meeting in Narberth this evening. I recently completed a teaching certificate and I’m attending a presentation evening later this week and still more albums to make up.

Happy Birthday to Rose

Today is Rose’s birthday and Lee and Claire are visiting as well. :-)

I’ve spent most of the day processing the images from Scott and Alena’s wedding, their viewing gallery is now on-line.

Scott and Alena’s Wedding

Today we had the pleasure of attending Scott and Alena’s wedding at Castell Coch followed by the reception and evening party at Bryngarw House.  It was a lovely day and despite the rain after the ceremony we’ve captured some lovely images here are a few.

Wedding Cars

My last two weddings have had stunning wedding cars, the photograph below from Lee and Claire’s wedding shows Claire’s mum (Heather) and bridesmaids (Stacey, Pip and Gill) at the side of a beautiful 1934 Sunbeam Twenty Five Six Light in terrific condition from Love & Marriage Carriages of west Norfolk.

At Adam and Sally’s wedding they had a beautiful modern Bentley with an interesting registration.

I think summer has arrived!

It’s been a very busy few weeks with quite a few weddings. The Nikon D2X took a tumble off the tripod at a recent wedding but fortunately Fixation managed to repair it and return it to me within a week so I had it back in time for the next wedding.

I’ve just returned from Norfolk where I had the pleasure of photographing Lee and Claire’s wedding at Weston Park. It was a lovely wedding and everything went without a problem. Claire, her family and friends stayed at the Lenwade Country House Hotel which was a great experience, my room was very nice but the hotel is like a maze so always a challenge to find the room again! The wedding ceremony and reception at Weston Park were wonderful and the rain stopped in the afternoon so we could photograph the groups outside.

Here are a couple of photographs of Lee and Claire:

A fine Monday

Welsh class this afternoon with more practice speaking.

I bought two new tyres for the Passat this afternoon.

I met with Michael and Leanne this evening who are getting married soon to go over all the details for their wedding day, they are a lovely couple and I’m really looking forward to photographing their wedding.

I’m attending a wedding photography master class tomorrow that’s been organised by the Welsh Region of the Master Photographers Association, should be an interesting day.

A busy few weeks

I’ve been very busy recently with quite a lot of commercial photography and personal injury assignments. There’s also been quite a lot of work to complete with the various courses I’m studying which has left very little spare time, luckily the courses come to an end before the busy wedding season.

Rose’s brother Reuben is still in hospital. :-( Zowiann is now out of hospital following her kidney transplant over Christmas.  :-)

Yesterday I went to Roath Park in Cardiff to take some photographs of Adam and Sally who are getting married next month. Adam and Sally are having a signing frame at their wedding and wanted a photograph of the two of them for the frame which will be replaced after the wedding with a photograph of them taken on the wedding day.

This is the image they’ve selected for their signing frame.

Lovely weather for spring

It’s certainly been very wet and windy recently.

Last night I helped my son Paul move his things out of his old house, he’s hoping to move into his new place soon.

I’ve just upgraded my blog software and it seems to be a very good improvement over the previous version with a host of new features.

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi

It certainly was wet and windy last night.

St David’s Day and wearing a daffodil again. :-)

I started a Certificate of Education course this morning, it’s going to be a busy weekend with all the homework from both my current courses. :-(

It’s been a bright and sunny day today but the wind is now starting to build up once again and it’s getting overcast.
